Calcite Meaning
The term “Calcite” originates from the Latin word ‘calx’, which translates to ‘lime’. It was given this name due to its prevalence and its contribution to forming a significant amount of limestone.
In spiritual circles, Calcite is often referred to as a stone of amplification and cleansing. It’s believed to help clear negativity and amplify positive energies, thus leading to personal growth and development.
Calcite is also seen as a stone of wisdom, helping to bring clarity and insight to the user’s life. This rich meaning adds to the attraction of Calcite, enhancing its value beyond its physical attributes.

Calcite is found worldwide, but significant deposits exist in Mexico, the United States, Brazil, and some parts of Europe, including England and Iceland.

This crystal is very calming and can release stress and tension. It can also work with the heart chakra for emotional healing.

Caribbean Calcite is a powerful healer for the physical body, but it can also help with fostering a stronger spiritual and psychic connection.
